Ariike Studio Reworked Denim Apron
Each Ariike Studio apron begins with a pair of worn jeans.
Cut from used denim and combined with plain 100% cotton denim where structure is needed, every apron is individually assembled and hand-finished in our studio at Oxo Tower Wharf. No two are the same. The fades, the softened edges, the subtle traces of wear — these are not flaws, but character. Each piece carries a past life, re-cut and rebalanced into something purposeful and new.
Designed to move between worlds, the apron works as both garment and tool. Some wear it layered over dresses, trousers, or tailoring — styled as a statement piece. Others use it as intended: for making, painting, cooking, teaching, building. It belongs in the studio as much as it does in the street.
The denim is 100% cotton, durable yet breathable, and fully washable. It will soften further with time, shaping gently to the body through use.
Because each apron is made from reclaimed denim, pocket placements, tones, and panel compositions vary. What remains consistent is the intention: thoughtful construction, practical design, and the quiet beauty of material that has already lived.
This is not a uniform.
It is a working layer — made slowly, made by hand, made to last.
